How do you plant a tree for every shirt sold online?

We’ve partnered with Tree-Nation, a non-profit organization on a mission to reforest the world, to plant a tree for every tee purchased in our online store. Planting trees is proven to be one of the most efficient solutions to fight climate change. By supporting reforestation and conservation projects we not only offset our carbon footprint, we help restore forests, create jobs, support local communities and protect biodiversity.

At the end of each month, we put our hands deep in the soil of our site analytics to see how many individual shirts were purchased. We then donate the equivalent cost of one tree planting credit for every t-shirt we sell in our online store through Tree-Nation at the end of each month. We are currently supporting Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar.

Transparency is tantamount to our One Tee = One Tree™ initiative, which is why we love what Tree-Nation is doing. They create a Digital Forest on our behalf so anyone can see the number of trees planting and the CO2 captured through our efforts.

Please note, this initiative is the next evolution of our sustainability ethos at Solid Threads and only first began in April 2023. We're hopeful the sentiment outweighs the size of our forest at this point.
