The Signature fabric is thinner than I anticipated? What should I consider regarding the lightweight nature of your Signature blend fabric?

Thanks for your order and I'm really sorry the weight of our Signature Blend fabric was not to your liking. I wanted to provide some alternative fit options to consider for the future along with a little more context on our Signature Blend fabric with the hope of allaying some of your disappointment.

We are currently in the process of adding several t-shirt fit options (with varying fabric weights, fits, and feels) across our entire catalog of designs, each with their own distinctive attributes to provide a more personalized t-shirt wearing experience to each unique individual.

So very soon, you’ll be able to choose your favorite design in the fit/fabric that works best for you.

With that said, the quality of these different garment fits as compared to our signature blend is really subjective to each individual's taste, which is why we are moving to offer more Fit options.

Our Signature Blend garments are ethically sourced, and custom cut & sewn in the USA exclusively for Solid Threads. We use a lighter weight 4.2 oz, 40 thread count, combed ring spun cotton/poly fabric, because we feel it provides a high quality, worn-in fit and feel from the get go complementing the vintage inspired aesthetic of our brand.

We recognize that if you were expecting a thicker, heavier weight fabric, and this is your main barometer for t-shirt quality, there’s the potential for us to let you down. Due to the tight weave of our fabric, I assure you that our garments hold up for hundreds of washes, tending to only get more uniformly and delectably soft with age without the stiffness and twisting of heavier weight, lower quality fabrics.

With that said, our shirts are not for everyone, so if you feel it does not live up to your expectations, we offer free returns and exchanges.

You can download a FREE return label from our Self Serve Returns & Exchanges Portal.
